The King Protea is the most popular variety, having one of the largest flower heads in the Proteaceae family. They are stunning in the garden, on the patio and in flower arrangements.

  • CONDITIONS

    Light Frost tolerance once established, Coastal Conditions, Wind Tolerant

  • SOIL TYPE

    Sandy / Rocky Soil.

  • CARE

    Plant in well drained acidic soil. Water well to establish 1-2 years. Use a natural mulch low in phosphorus. Do not fertilize. Pick all flowers or cut back after flowering to maintain shape. In pots, water daily.
